Someone broke the rules...
The angels and demons made a truce. No one would interfere with the free will of man kind. If he chose to do good, then let him be. If he chose to do evil, then let him be. Man kind knows his consequences, he must live his life freely, therefore he must choose freely. But someone decided what was best for man kind. Someone interfered with man's decision... causing a war between the two sides.

Who was it?... Was it the angels...or the demons?

I showed ~Sake906 before submitting and he pointed out the irony in this image. The demon is in the light, the angel is in the darkness. Some people would prefer it the other way. I did this unintentionally and I think I like it haha!

Yesterday, I was doodling and finally came up with an idea and actually had the motivation to challenge myself in this contest. So...I pretty much rushed this. I did not care for major technical issues (hi perspective), but I did try my best....question...mark?

Yet another awesome good vs evil entry. I would have hoped that you would have made it but hey, there's always a bigger fish. Anyways, I really like the detail and form of this demon/devil being. It has a very ancient feel to it and it's skin looks like it's made of stone. I like the angel as well and his invisible wings. I also like the concept of angels and demons intervening in the existence of man. Very amazing shading and coloring and I like the background. It looks as if the demon is invading heaven or that they are fighting on holy ground. I also like the angling of this, gives it a real dynamic look. Awesome work

I like the way the irony works, It implies the yinn and yang balance of the world and also makes the features of Good and Evil's champions stand out

This looks great! I agree with you, I like that the angel is in the shadows and the demon in the light! Gives a nice effect! The demon itself stands out very clearly that way and looks darker for it, and the angel's wing shows nicely in the dark!

But... does he only have one wing? Or... I can't see a second one.

And the demon could have looked more...I dunno, more rough and dirty or something. He seems very clean and smooth. But then again, that's kinda cool too. Different.

I love this picture anyways!

The Angel has two wings, just in the middle of transforming into his full form...that and I felt putting the second wing would be too distracting. I had 1 day to complete this, otherwise the demon would be more detailed
