Work done for FFG. Art featured in Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader "Into the Storm". I have more stuff to upload from them but was not given the "OK" yet. It's frustrating :<..

Sorry for inactivity, been working on other commissions and playing MMOs ROFL! I'll have some new work up, promise :>

I spotted this and went "I've seen that before..." Looked at the description and was like "OMG. Really?" Your work is fantastic.

Good Morning, I am Nemo.

Wow. Badass. This guy has a LOT of personality. For an only vaguely-humanoid being, this guy looks every bit as jaded, ragged and remorseless as a mercenary should.

BTW, I like the little details, like the ankle-weapon, straps, and the gun's wooden handle and leather cord. ^_^

Thank you! I'm glad you like the little details :D The very concept of them is not very friendly looking so artists have to keep that look. Games Workshop is pretty damn strict :|

I'd assume so!

Out of curiosity, what kind of directions do you get when somebody asks for a custom-built creature? Do the creators, say, give you a specific description of motifs or a rough sketch? Or are the directions more general?

I would not say "custom", it's already in existence in the Warhammer universe. So I get reference images based on other artistic interpretations and some strict guidelines. Games Workshop is very strict with their creations, there's not enough creativity to work with. If a character is ugly, you keep it ugly despite your style.

I see! Sorry if that was a weird question... I always love to know more about the technical end of things. :XD:
