Today is the day my dad passed away. This was back in 2005, a day I will never forget, and it still hurts..

This is a tribute to him, a depiction of his dream he told me about when I was young.

The Dream
He had a dream about walking into the forest, leaving behind his troubles, until he saw a beast. This beast was holding within its grasp...a beautiful bird...the bird you see depicted here. He quickly snatched the bird away from the monster, but strangely, it never retaliated...only submit to defeat. My dad then ran off with the bird, held it tightly, away from people who kept begging to buy this beautiful creature.

Symbolism. The beast was his old, painful life. The bird was his new life,like a phoenix, reborn

I'll never forget you...you will always be in my dreams, reminding me of the good, funny and bad times. All which that remind me, you were physically here...I love you
